There is a draft document by the authoritative Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that focuses on global warming's effects. It is the second series of four that is written by over 1,000 scientists from different countries. This article summarizes this report and it has some very interesting and kind of scary facts that is probable to happen. By 2050, billions of Asians could face water shortages, Europe's small glaciers will be gone and the large ones will shrink drastically, and the smog in U.S. cities will increase which increases deaths due to the ozone, polar bears will mostly be found in zoos, their habitats gone, and pests like fire ants will thrive. By 2030, illnesses like malaria and dengue fever will rise. By 2080, about 100 million people a year will be flooded because of the rise of sea level, and water shortages could threaten 1.1 billion to 3.2 billion people. Finally, by 2100, half of Europe's plant species could be vulnerable, endangered or extinct, shortening the oxygen level.
